I like this song. A lot.

Life is so different from how it was originally intended, huh? But I think there's a sweetness to that. How could we marvel at, enjoy the intimate wonder of being fixed, of a heart restored, if we didn't need to be? We'd miss it. We'd miss the indescribable joy and freedom of being a soul redeemed.

I'm smiling as I duet with John, car windows rolled down, green blurs of tree pass and people hurriedly walking nowhere. I'm feeling hopeful.
